Compressor tool

Independent review and monitoring of compressor performance:

Compressor data and regulator data (CCC, Statoil DCS) is emulated in excel and can be connected directly via OPC to control system.

Used to check performance and data during FAT, dynamic simulation, surge testing, dynamic testing and normal operation.

Used on all compressor at Snøhvit plant during commissioning and 11 compressors at Kårstø plant.

For all calculations of (mol weight, flow, etc.) there is used ISO algorithms when possible.

Example compressor map:

- Black lines = speed curves
- Thick red line = surge curve
- Thin red line = surge curve in controller
- Green line = control line controller
- Blue dot = operating point
- Blue crosses = recorded operating points.
